ALERT: Unrelated business with similar name may be fraudulently charging credit cards

In July 2020, we began receiving many calls and emails about unrecognized charges appearing on credit cards from a business with a similar name to ours. A company named Vital Health Shop (often appearing on credit card statements as "CHS Vital Health Shop" or "CHS Vital Health") appears to be selling products on Facebook and then applying additional, unauthorized charges to cardholders. While most of these charges occurred in 2020 and 2021, we occasionally still receive calls.

This company is in no way related to Vital Choice, Inc. (dba Vital Choice Health Store), an Ohio corporation.

If you do not recognize any transactions on your credit card statement, we recommend disputing them with your credit card company immediately. You may also want to consider reporting your credit card stolen. Finally, if you purchased products on Facebook, please report this company as fraudulent.

Vital Choice, Inc. (doing business as Vital Choice Health Store) is a community based health food store located in North Royalton, Ohio since 1998. Again, we are completely unrelated to Vital Health Shop. We do not sell products on Facebook, Amazon, etc.

If you feel your credit card has been charged without your authorization, please contact your credit card company.
